For over 10 years, Treasure Valley Commonwealth has proudly hosted FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams for students ages 9–14.
Through this internationally recognized STEM program, students:
Build and program a LEGO® robot to complete real-world inspired challenges.
Research a topic connected to the annual theme and prepare a creative presentation.
Develop skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership.
Our teams are guided by the FIRST Core Values, which express the philosophies of Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition®:
Discovery – We explore new skills and ideas.
Innovation – We use creativity and persistence to solve problems.
Impact – We apply what we learn to improve our world.
Inclusion – We respect each other and embrace our differences.
Teamwork – We are stronger when we work together.
Fun – We enjoy and celebrate what we do!
Each season concludes with a regional competition, where students showcase their robot design, research project, and collaboration. Over the years, our teams have proudly earned recognition, including: the Project Award, the Judges' Award and the Teamwork Award.
We also value building community across generations. Several of o our alumni have returned as student mentors, giving back and guiding the next generation of innovators.
We believe a person’s standards should not have to be lowered or disregarded to have an enjoyable, memorable night of music and dance. Idaho Modest Prom is organizing dances for youth ages 16-19 that are looking for a positive environment they can enjoy formal dances in. It's just clean, classy fun!
